The Venues ... nightmares

I wish that I could find the perfect place. For the wedding I have been successful. As for the reception afterward, I have not been so lucky. I never would have guessed it would have been so difficult. I have spoken to parks, restaurants, vineyards, and finally I have looked into hotels...

So far it is looking like it will most likely be the Sheraton on the falls.

Chuppah

A canopy under which a Jewish couple stand during their wedding ceremony. It consists of a cloth or sheet, sometimes a sheet of white linen stretched or supported over four poles, or sometimes manually held up by attendants to the ceremony. A chuppah symbolizes the home that the couple will build together.

The Invitations

The Invitations will be black and red -preferably- how ever I was just able to find today a template for black and gold ones that are very nice and reasonably priced on http://www.vponsale.com the price of 110 invites is about 109 dollars.

The Reception

So I've been emailing back and forth to inquire about the reception venue. It seems that the agency I have been working with really can not offer me what we are looking for. We want something very open and natural where we will be able to have our own choice of catering. It seems as though I am back at square one as the venue near to the falls will not be able to offer what we want. So now I am looking for other venues with in the Niagara region, I was sent photos of the "floral showcase garden" how ever this is not near the falls and would not allow for outside catering.

The Bride and Groom

The Bride
Robin
"When the world seemed like it was falling apart around me, came a loving and caring soul, that made me feel whole again, and accepted me for all my faults. She gave me a sense of joy when the world around me was cast in darkness. She gave me hope in a world that seemed full of despair. If there was a more capable woman in my life, with more ambition and strength, I doubt I have ever met her. My love, my heart, my darling little Robin, you set my heart free, and you give me all that I have ever wanted. You challenge me daily, with your clever and witty outlook on life, and you show me the beginning of the family I have always wanted. I love you. "I do" will have more meaning to me than I ever could have imagined before I met you and you melted the ice from my heart, and as we begin our lives together as one. My soul mate..." - Rayne

The Groom

Rayne

"My groom, my soul mate, Master of my heart. There was a point in my life I thought I would be alone... that was before I met Rayne. He showed me the life I have always wanted, he gave me a place in the world that I have always needed. To me he is strength, as everything he does he does with honor, pride and passion. He changed how I viewed most things including myself, he gave me something to hope for: a family, a home, love.
Every day that goes by that I am his is the newest happiest day of my life and as we start this journey together I know that I have found the best life partner I could ever have dreamed of.
If I am as inconstant as the wind my Rayne is as solid and constant as the earth giving me something to hold onto." - Robin

The Flowers

The Flowers will help tie everything together. We hope to have an elegant yet minimalistic feel to our wedding. There for we are thinking of the traditional rose in a deep dark red colour or long steamed dark red lilies.

The Rings

The chosen rings exhibit a timeless and classic elegance with a modern flare. The titanium that makes up these rings signifies the commitment we are about to undertake. Titanium is strong and eternal, just as the love a husband and wife share, an unbreakable bond without limit and for an eternity.

The Venues

The wedding ceremony will be held at the Niagara botanical gardens In Niagara Falls Ontario, This beautiful spot has 99 acres of garden  is just ten minutes from the falls and also houses the Butterfly Conservatory.

The Reception held latter will be at the Oaks Garden theater, For a beautiful out door dinner and dancing.

The Song

The Wedding Song "Dance me to the end of love" by Canadian singer song writer Leonard Cohen.

The Dress/Tux

The Wedding is Black and Red with a Gothic feel The dresses there for have to match. This is a White Pagan Hand fasting Gown that I will be wearing on my Wedding day.

The brides maids will be dressed in the black and red style dress below with corseted back

And lastly but not least my Wonderful Groom and his Grooms party shall be in Black and red Tux; something along these lines
